Play

Order of play

To begin play, the players each draw one of the 4 Winds. The player who draws the East Wind will take the East side of the table – in the beneath model:

  • A has drawn the South Wind
  • B has drawn the East Wind
  • C has drawn the North Wind
  • D has drawn the West Wind

Making the wall

All tiles mix and move randomly. All players select 36 tiles and build a wall in line on their side. When all players did it then it look like a square on the table.

Break the wall

To figure out where to “Break the Wall” or where to begin drawing tiles from. The players who are in the East Wind position toss two dice and add the aggregate together. So assuming that he tosses 4 and 3 he adds up this to seven and counts seven counterclockwise around the Wall sides. Counting his own piece of the divider as 1, South’s as 2, West’s as 3, and so forth So 7 takes him to West’s importance for the Wall.

Then, at that point, that player (for this situation West) likewise tosses the dice and adds the numbers together. Beginning at the right-hand end of his piece of the Wall, he counts the tossed absolute along, and when he goes to the last 2 tiles, he breaks the divider with a hole now by pushing the left-hand tiles somewhat further to one side to make a hole. This is currently the limit, where tiles will draw from.

The dead wall

Counting from the breaking of the Wall to the right is the Dead Wall (otherwise called the Kong Box) and to the left is the Live Wall.

Dealing the tiles

East consistently goes first. They take the initial four tiles from the live divider, then, at that point, South does likewise, trailed by West and North. Tiles are taken like this until everybody has 12 tiles.
Then, at that point, East takes the last 2 tiles, and every other person takes 1.
•East get 4 tiles
•South get 4 tiles
•West get 4 tiles
•North get 4 tiles
•East get 4 tiles
•South get 4 tiles
•West get 4 tiles
•North get 4 tiles
•East get 4 tiles
•South get 4 tiles
•West get 4 tiles
•North takes 4 tiles
•East takes 2 tiles
•South takes 1
•West takes 1
•North takes 1

Replacements

In case the hand contains Flowers or Seasons, they are quickly merged (put face up above and to the side of the hand). And supplanted with standard tiles taken from the back finish of the divider (East replaces first his additional tiles, then, at that point, South, West, and North).

Drawing the tiles

The game is currently prepared and new tiles will be taken from the “wall” where the drawing of the underlying hand is finished. The seller (or East) begins the game by disposing of a tile face up in the focal point of the table. South then, at that point, draws and disposes of a tile, trailed by West and North. In this manner, the draw goes counter-clockwise around the table, except if a tile is tossed which a player can guarantee. All things considered, the go leaps to the separate player’s position.
